Im making the most of these gorgeous summer days here in tasmania(no humidity like up north) and enjoying the gardens.
I was fortunate to find a rental property for the time being with some lovely gardens.
I love these daisys with there towering flower heads..
Also lucky to have these gorgeous Hydrangeas growing out front to.
There is a heat wave hitting the mainland again, with it we are getting very warm days here to but not the extreme intensity there getting.
Im starting to feel we have made the right decision to move here..

Finally here and loving Tasmania.
So much to see and the gardens are just amazing.
Tasmania, has an amazing amount of talented people all over. I cant wait to get amongst it all.
I have been also busy creating some new items, mixed media creations which is all new for me but Im
loving the results Im getting.
The photo above is a very old chair Im working on, I found it discarded on the side of the road
in a heap of pieces. She has now been put together and has a new lease on life.
Lilacs, were do I begin. I have for so long wanted to grow all these cool climate plants and now I can.
To see them all in flower is breathtaking. and they smell just as amazing as they look.
My afternoon tea awaits...

Were moving on. Over sometime now we have been discussing moving to Tasmania and Finally made the big decision to take the plunge. After many hours of weeding, trimming and planting the gardens out. Many hours of fluffing, dusting, moving and making soft furnishings the inside was then ready for D day.
Our home, which consist of a 9mtre long shed that we didnt quite get around to completing, sat on 2 and ahalf acreas of land with views to Mt Warning and the surrounds, Went on the market last thursday and by friday had someone making an appointment to view the place on the monday.
Tuesday came and after some offers and counteroffers we sold our place.
Yes thats right 4 days on the market. We just cant believe it, now theres so much to do, more than
we no Im sure of it.
This is ment to be or we wouldnt have sold so quick, so we look forward to a new chapter in our lives.

Generally have have decos up by now, carols playing and the christmas
baking started. I just loving dragging every minute out of this festive season.
Here are some of the decos to adorn the tree.
I will be back with more holiday decorating, Till then take care,

Its beginning to feel alot like christmas,
Im enjoying pinterest and all
its christmas ideas.
I am looking forward to it this year more so
as my youngest is a christmas fanatic like myself.
The past 2 months we have been in
full song carol mode much to the dislike
of my eldest son.
I have been busy making and preparing
christmas deco's.
But before I share those I have been making
furniture, now Im no carpenter by all means,
But I love the hammer and nails, I whipped up
this book stand from a bedside cupboard adn the top
I just made from recycled
timber lying around.
Theres not much of anything I wont try,
The draw I had to make as the original
was missing. Its alittle on the rustic side,
but I love it and think it works well with this piece.
I will be back soon with decos to share ,,
till then take care.
Tania..
